Paul Thompson
Paul Thompson has concentrated his practice on civil litigation and has experience representing a wide variety of personal injury accident cases, including victims of car accidents, slip, and falls, wrongful deaths, dog bites, medical malpractice, dram shop/drunk driving, boating accidents and others. Paul combines his vast experience with effective and compassionate client communication and representation to successfully translate the client's case into a successful courtroom strategy. Paul takes the time to truly understand the client's needs. As a result, he has earned the trust and respect of his clients for always keeping their best interests in mind. Trying a case to a jury is not always the best option for each victim of an accident. Paul has significant experience in resolving claims by means of negotiated settlement or other alternative processes. By constantly striving to provide the highest quality legal representation to his clients, Paul keeps the success of his clients his ultimate goal. Paul graduated from Augsburg College with summa cum laude honors in 1985. While working and raising a family, Paul obtained his juris doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1988. Paul is admitted to both the Minnesota and Wisconsin Bar. Paul is also admitted to the U.S. District Court - District of Minnesota, the U.S. Claims Court and the U.S. Supreme Court. Since founding the law firm of Woods & Thompson, P.A. in 1997, Paul has represented thousands of injured victims who have valued his dedication, experience and steadfast loyalty. < Back
Harold Hitchcock
Harold obtained his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in 1988. In 1997 he graduated from Hamline University School of Law and was admitted to the Minnesota Bar that same year. After joining the practice of law, Harold founded Hitchcock Law Office and spent 9 years practicing in the areas of personal injury, family law, criminal defense and aviation law. In 2000 he joined Woods & Thompson, P.A. as an independent contract attorney where he devoted most of his time representing injured plaintiffs. In 2006, Harold formally joined Woods & Thompson, P.A. as a partner.
Harold is a member of the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association, Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association, NTSB Bar Association and Airplane Owners & Pilots Association - Legal Services Plan. He also devotes time to the Private Bar Involvement Program through Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services.
Victoria M. Yang
Since her admission to the practice of law in 2003, Victoria Yang has devoted her career to helping injured victims in successfully resolving their claims. Victoria joined the litigation department at Woods & Thompson, P.A. in 2008. As a litigation attorney at Woods and Thompson, P.A., Victoria focuses her practice on a variety of personal injury claims, including motor vehicle accident, dog bite, slip and fall and wrongful death. Prior to joining Woods & Thompson, P.A., Victoria founded Vang Law Firm and has successfully handled personal injury cases in both the state of Minnesota and Wisconsin. She has also effectively handled criminal defense and marriage dissolution cases.
Victoria obtained her undergraduate degree from Macalester College with double majors in Biology and Neuroscience and a minor in Psychology. She then attended William Mitchell College of Law, received her J.D. in 2003 and was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar in 2003. Victoria is a member of the Minnesota Association of Justice, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, and the Hennepin County Bar Association. She is also a qualified Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice and a qualified Minnesota Supreme Court Hmong interpreter under Minnesota Statute section 480.175.
Lindsay M. Hadtrath
Lindsay Hadtrath graduated with honors from Gustavus Adolphus College, with a major in Political Science (B.A. 2004). She then attended William Mitchell College of Law, received her J.D. in 2007 and was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar in 2007. While in law school, Lindsay was the 2006 Ruby R. Vale Corporate Appellate Moot Court Champion and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper. Lindsay also competed in the 2007 Henry G. Manne Law & Economics Moot Court National Competition held in Washington, D.C. Lindsay is qualified to be a neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice.
